El Toreo in Ocala

I had been to El Toreo many times, but not for over a year. I was very disappointed in my dinner, and in the quality of my margarita. I had ordered a Cuervo margarita, but I am certain that was not what we got. My husband would not finish his because it was so bad. I am unsure what "meat" was used to prepare my beef burrito and enchilada. Ii chose not to eat them. We won't go back any time soon! Others seemed very happy with their dining experience. I wish we had liked it better!

Quick, easy and consistently good Mexican food. Nothing too fancy but a great place to meet up for a quick lunch and always fun to go and celebrate a birthday. Stay away from the cheap margaritas at all costs, especially the 99 cent special on Wednesday nights. This location seems to be a little less crowded than the SR 200 locations most of the time as well.

I was craving tf outta some good Mexican food...shrimp tacos and rice and beans...guac...all of it was AMAZINGNESS 🤗

The customer service is great. I loved the dessert! We had the fried cheesecake and ice cream 😋

We love El toreo especially the one on 40. patron shots, frozen margaritas and the pablano rellenos makes for a perfect night

!Went with my daughter, they were very busy. Waited 30 minutes to be seated. Once sat, waiters were courteous and knowledgeable on their menu items. Came back several times to check on us. The food is very fresh and delicious! Would definitely recommend!

This was a bad experience from the moment we be walked in the door. Half were masked the others apathetic. Food came whenever. I love my desserts but not before my mealwe arrived. I had one star. It was risen since my guests seemed to enjoy it and we are going through

Great prices and fast service. You can argue the varying degrees of authentic Mexican food, but the flavor and portions are great. I really their spicy house made salsa.

We went mid afternoon so seating was not a problem. Burrito Supremes were very good. Sliced tomatoes on top were not very good. Service was excellent.

Not the EXPERIENCE we expectedWe arrived at this restaurant by following the reviews and Google recommendations.Making a long story shortPico de gallo was stale, it seems it was made couple of days ago.Guacamole was already kind of brown, and it seems it was also made couple of days ago.Fajita was a disaster , same situation with onions and peppers.This people use microwave oven very often.It has been one of the worst Mexican restaurants experience.We spotted at least two employees not wearing their mask at all.One of seemed to be a manager and he was interacting with the tables.

Amazing food. Being that i have a gluten allergy this place was a smash hit. I will be back.

It was banguing....I took my husband for Lunch to celebrate Father's Day and he loved it. The QuesadillaFajita was amazing and my Chimichanga was excellent....Thank you for great service from the waitresses to the Kitchen staff. You have a customer for life....Namaste 🙏❤🌹

One of my favorite places. I like the atmosphere. It’s relaxed and I go in the day so it’s not crowded. The lunch specials are priced reasonable. I spend as much at fast food places. My servers have always been nice and very polite.

El Toreo was my favorite restaurant me and my family have been going there for years. This last year or two things have not been the same at all. The last 3 times I've ordered to pick up it's not been correct and only once did I call because literally everything was not right and missing some of the order. Customer service was terrible when I spoke to the manager I didn't feel like he even cared and was rushing me off the phone and twice now has there been something in my food that shouldn't have been.

This was our first time in and we weren't disappointed! Sat down right away, had our chips and salsa (both were very fresh and toasty) right away. Our waiter came over right away and within 5 mins of walking in we had our drinks. Food was amazing and the all the staff were very nice and attentive! We'll definitely be back!

I have eaten at El Toreo for years the last 3 times service and food not so good. Tried giving another chance, unfortunately i found hair in my food and service was bad.

The $2.00 margarita are not very tasty. It was like really watered down. I asked the waiter, who was very handsome, to bring me a better version. He did and it was really good. The food was very tasty and you get lots of it. Nothing off the charts, just good Tex Mex type meals. The waiters were Johnny in the spot and go just for the service. You'll be glad you did. Just don't get the $2.00 Margarita. $$

We’ve been twice since entering this area. Chicken tortilla soup was my first meal there. It was delicious and such a huge portion that we asked for a second bowl to share with my hubby! Our second meal there were the lunch fajitas. They were delicious and certainly good-size portions. The food and the service were both great! Will definitely return!
